Community gardens play a crucial role in bolstering neighborhood vibrancy, improving food security, encouraging environmental responsibility, and enhancing community well-being. A community garden is a shared space where residents collectively cultivate fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Garden plots are available to any City of Dyersville resident interested in growing his/her own produce.
- Gardens are open May 1 – October 15
- Plots are approximately 15 x 20 feet
- 20 plots available
- Plots of land are leased for an annual fee of $20 per plot
- Tilling & Soil testing will be done prior to the growing season
- Water will NOT be available on site
